As a Lead Host, you will play a crucial role in creating a memorable dining experience for our guests by delivering a high standard of service and ensuring guest satisfaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Greeting and Seating Guests:

● Welcome guests upon arrival, manage the reservation system, and guide them to their designated tables with a courteous and professional manner.

Reservation Management:

● Keep track of reservations, ensure accurate seating arrangements, and communicate effectively with the serving staff to maintain a smooth flow of service.

Communication:

● Provide clear and concise information to guests regarding wait times, specials, and any relevant restaurant information. Answer phones in a professional and friendly manner.

Coordinating with Staff:

● Collaborate with Captains, BOH Staff, and management to ensure a seamless dining experience. Relay special requests and dietary restrictions to the appropriate personnel.

Maintaining a Tidy Entrance:

● Keep the host stand and waiting areas clean and organized. Monitor the cleanliness and appearance of the reception and dining areas.

Assisting with Special Events:

● Participate in organizing and coordinating special events, private parties, and other functions hosted by the restaurant.

Handling Guest Concerns:

● Address guest concerns and complaints professionally, and escalate issues to management when necessary. Work towards finding suitable solutions to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

● Previous experience in a host/hostess or other comparable position, preferably in a fine dining restaurant

● Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

● Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with grace and professionalism

● Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities

● Knowledge of reservation systems and basic computer skills

● Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
