Job Description
This role involves outside territory sales requiring travel throughout the NORTHWEST REGION to meet with clients. You'll be based out of a remote home office working 80% - 90% in your local territory with the other 10% - 15% within the region to visit distributors. The territory includes Northern California, Oregon, and Washington. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Develop Specification business for commercial Hardened Wood offering.
  • Selling to commercial A&D firms, end-users and flooring contractors.
  • Develop and execute business plans to achieve quarterly sales objectives.
  • Proactively identify and strategize ways to capture new critical accounts.
  • Be a self-starter – Driven by goals and results.
  • Enjoy helping others with their visions and goals.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the industry, trends, products, and business channel.
  • Seek out your own leads, appointments and develop new client base.
  • Account Management and business development.
  • Drive to Succeed and enjoy uncapped earning potential through hard work.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • BA/BS Degree and minimum 3 years of success in B2B Commercial Flooring Sales.
  • Must have strong relationships with the Commercial A&D firms in the market.
  • A hunter mentality with the ability to develop rapport and build trusted relationships.
  • Excellent problem solving, strategic thinking and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to confidently deliver presentations and engage with prospects over the phone and in person.
  • Solid skills in MS Office, CRM, and Math.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate initiative.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a changing environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Exceptional professional presence and strong business acumen.
  • Ability to Travel 50% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation: Generous base plus guarantee/commission
