Leprino Foods is Hiring a Laboratory Technician (Chemistry) Near Denver, CO

Within our Chemistry lab team located in Denver – Leprino is seeking a Lab Technician III, Chemistry to move our organization to even larger level of dairy ingredient and nutrition growth! At Leprino Foods, starting hourly compensation for this role typically ranges between $ 22.94 and $ 25.80. This position has an annual target bonus of 3.5% .

  • Assists senior staff members with performing chemistry testing accurately, safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
  • Maintains detailed and accurate records of all test results, comments, deviations and control information.
  • Follows all safety precautions associated with laboratory procedures and maintains a safe working environment by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
  • Supports chemistry testing as needed through sample and supply receiving, housekeeping/cleaning, proficiency testing and project support.
  • Performs sample preparation duties, such as preparing standard solutions and reagents for use in chemical testing.
  • Enters sample and test data into computer databases to ensure products are meeting published customer service standards.
  • Cleans lab equipment and glassware.
  • Disposes of test tubes and fills distilled water jugs.
  • Maintains appropriate lab inventory, ordering and receiving supplies for the lab.
  • Prepares, labels, weighs-out samples aseptically organized (by plant) Collabs.
  • Performs basic housekeeping duties in the lab.
  • Performs routine maintenance of chemistry lab equipment.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

  • A High School Diploma.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Food Science, or relevant discipline
  • Experience in a chemistry or food safety lab.
