Within our state-of-the art 500 person Greeley, CO manufacturing facility, we are seeking a Senior Technical Supervisor on our Cheese team to continue moving our organization to even larger levels of food quality, safety, and production efficiencies.

At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between $89,000 and $107,000. This position has an annual target bonus of 12%.

Improve the technical capability of the assigned production department(s) employees.

Responsible for managing training completion and final proficiency assessments, including but not limited to manager, supervisor, foreperson, and operator assessments.

Collaborates effectively with the Corporate Technical Capability team to ensure plant specific training programs, Standard Work, and Work Instructions are accurate and high quality.

Works closely with the Technical Services, department manager(s) and shift supervisors to complete special project work, oversight of department specific make plans, improvement of process standard deviations, and is responsible for technical troubleshooting and problem solving.

Collaborates with the Department Manager(s) to ensure that products manufactured in the facility are of the highest quality and in constant alignment with customer specifications by providing technical expertise along with root cause analysis to examine process failures and eliminate future occurrences.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications) :

A Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering, OR equivalent work experience.

Four (4) years of previous experience as a supervisor, superintendent, or manager in a food, beverage, chemical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing facility.

The ability to perform shift work in a 24 / 7 operational plant (the milk never stops coming).

A Bachelor's or Master’s in Food or Dairy Science, Food Technology, or Chemical Engineering

Six (6) years as a production supervisor in a dairy manufacturing facility (cheese, yogurt, cream, or milk).
