What you will be doing:
- Execute Threat Assessments and Risk Analyses on electrified automotive products and features, working to develop and integrate mitigations early in the product development cycle.
- Monitor, assess, and analyze the detection and protection mechanisms implemented.
- Develop and execute cyber test plans for products based on Corporate Product Cyber Security approved test approaches, plans, procedures, and independent testing suppliers.
- Assess the severity of incidents and vulnerabilities identified by internal or external parties and work to confirm them.
- Identify the root cause of incidents and vulnerabilities and work to remedy them.
- Work cross functionally and within the larger team's product cyber security leads, work to develop documentation to support ESPA and other design reviews throughout the product lifecycle.
What you'll need to be successful:
- TARA experience
- Embedded Cyber Security
- Electronics OR controls background
- Knowledge of embedded control software development using the 'V' process for both design and verification/validation activities.
- Good communicator - written and verbal
- Great collaborator
- College, university, or equivalent BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- TARA experience
- Embedded Cyber Security
- Electronics OR controls background
- Knowledge of embedded control software development using the 'V' process for both design and verification/validation activities.
- Good communicator - written and verbal
- Great collaborator
- Cyber security software test
- Electrified automotive components (battery, invertor, convertor, motor generator etc.)
- Troubleshooting and root cause identification of incidents
