Role & Responsibilities:As a Senior Motors Controls Engineer, you'll lead the technical development of control software for power electronics, electric machines, and drives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing technical leadership in PEMD Controls
• Developing control algorithms and specifications
• Testing control software through various methods
• Supporting the wider PEMD engineering team
• Directly interfacing with clients on technical matters
• Ensuring projects are delivered on-time and within budget

Required Qualifications & Experience:To excel in this role, you'll need:

• A degree in Engineering, Control, Electrical, Electronics, or similar field
• Proficiency in model-based development languages, especially Matlab-Simulink
• Strong understanding of motor control theory and practice
• Experience in developing control systems for power electronics
• Excellent communication skills in English

Desirable Skills:While not mandatory, experience in the following areas would be advantageous:

• Familiarity with Infineon AURIX microcontrollers
• Proficiency in C programming
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR
• Understanding of functional safety standards such as ISO26262
