Role & Responsibilities:As a Senior Motors Controls Engineer, you'll lead the technical development of control software for power electronics, electric machines, and drives. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing technical leadership in PEMD Controls
Developing control algorithms and specifications
Testing control software through various methods
Supporting the wider PEMD engineering team
Directly interfacing with clients on technical matters
Ensuring projects are delivered on-time and within budget
Required Qualifications & Experience:To excel in this role, you'll need:
A degree in Engineering, Control, Electrical, Electronics, or similar field
Proficiency in model-based development languages, especially Matlab-Simulink
Strong understanding of motor control theory and practice
Experience in developing control systems for power electronics
Excellent communication skills in English
Desirable Skills:While not mandatory, experience in the following areas would be advantageous:
Familiarity with Infineon AURIX microcontrollers
Proficiency in C programming
Knowledge of AUTOSAR
Understanding of functional safety standards such as ISO26262
