Les Olson Company is Hiring a Licensed Burglar Alarm Installation Agent Near Salt Lake, UT

What we need:

Les Olson IT has operated a Structured Cabling division for over two years, and we're looking to build out our physical security offerings to include burglar alarm installation. We are seeking to hire an experienced burglar alarm installation agent who will work alongside our team of experienced cabling technicians as we develop our new alarm division.

Individual must be a registered Utah alarm company agent and have worked for a licensed alarm company.

Additionally, you'll need to have:

  • Excellent customer service skills and patience in explaining systems to non-technical customers
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc)
  • Clean driver's license and reliable means of transportation
  • Willingness to travel on occasion
  • Scissor and boom lift driving experience preferred

What You'll Do

  • Install alarm, security camera, and door access systems in commercial settings in accordance with applicable codes and regulations
  • Test all installed systems to ensure functionality
  • Provide thorough training to customer on use of alarm systems
  • Provide the sort of attentive and thorough customer service that Les Olson IT is known for
  • Collaborate with project design team to ensure quality of alarm installation plans, based on prior experience
  • Guide team members in best practices in alarm, door access, and camera installation
