Staff Accountant

Our company is currently seeking ​a entry level staff accountant to join our team! We are a growing accounting firm investing in the latest accounting technology and artificial intelligence to ride the accounting transformation wave. We have created a casual low-stress work environment with focus on accounting craftsmanship, skill development and team advancement. We seek to hire entry level college grads and develop them over a number of years into controllers and CFOs of small businesses.

Responsibilities:

• Enter AP and AR transactions
• Enter general ledger journal entries
• Setup fixed assets, loans and process payments
• Administrative duties such as answering vendor and customer calls, researching and resolving problems
• Bank and Credit Card reconciliations
• Record payroll entries

Qualifications:

Accounting

• University degree in Accounting or Masters of Accountancy
• Knowledge of bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Spreadsheets including formulas

Position requires a 90 day probationary period. Accounting proficiency test will be conducted during interview.
