The ideal candidate will have experience pursuing construction projects and managing them from estimation through completion. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.
Responsibilities
- Direct and oversee completion of project
- Develop plan of action including schedule, resources and work plan
- Assess risks and establish contingency plans
- Develop detailed cost estimates
- Prepare submittals, project schedules, and permits as required
- Review and approve subcontractor and vendor payments
- Monitor contract progress including costs, cash flow, and overall performance using various reports
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in commercial construction site work
- Expert-level use of CAD software. Trimble Business Center is strongly preferred
- Specific experience with grating and excavating preferred
- Experience with BlueBeam preferred
- Bachelor's degree may be helpful but is not required
