The ideal candidate will have experience pursuing construction projects and managing them from estimation through completion. This individual should also have experience managing people and be an effective communicator.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee completion of project
  • Develop plan of action including schedule, resources and work plan
  • Assess risks and establish contingency plans
  • Develop detailed cost estimates
  • Prepare submittals, project schedules, and permits as required
  • Review and approve subcontractor and vendor payments
  • Monitor contract progress including costs, cash flow, and overall performance using various reports

Qualifications

  • 7 years of experience in commercial construction site work
  • Expert-level use of CAD software. Trimble Business Center is strongly preferred
  • Specific experience with grating and excavating preferred
  • Experience with BlueBeam preferred
  • Bachelor's degree may be helpful but is not required
