We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Bilingual (Spanish/Creole/French) Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy services to clients who are possibly primarily Spanish-speaking. You will work collaboratively with clients to identify and address their mental health concerns, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Bilingual (Spanish/Creole/French) Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. In this role, you will provide individual, family, and group therapy services to clients who are possibly primarily Spanish-speaking. You will work collaboratively with clients to identify and address their mental health concerns, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to identify mental health concerns and determine appropriate treatment plans
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy services to primarily Spanish/Creole/French-speaking clients
- Collaborate with clients' families, primary care providers, and other healthcare professionals as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in the field
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in MHC
- Full licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in the state
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Experience working with primarily Spanish-speaking clients
- Strong assessment and treatment planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Licensed in NYS
