At 3rd Time Express, we’re on the lookout for an exceptional Logistics and Warehouse Manager to oversee our operation — a 4,000 square foot warehouse in Charleston. WV. You'll be at the helm of a dedicated team of about 9-12 employees, driving efficiency and innovation in our logistics and warehouse operations.

Purpose:

To support 3rd Time Express’ purpose of providing excellent customer service and delivery to our clients in a timely matter.

Major Goals:

1. Plan and coordinate a variety of logistics functions including deliveries and pickups, and labor needs
2. Ensure all KPIs within the Client are met
3. Manage, develop, and mentor assigned direct reports

Job Functions:

The Warehouse Manager is a critical member of our core logistics team responsible for exemplifying our culture, planning, and coordinating a variety of requests, and assisting the logistics and warehouse team.

Daily responsibilities include, but not limited to:

1. Plan, direct, and coordinate inbound/outbound freight deliveries and pickups
2. Maintain warehouse inventory control
3. Oversees the schedules and directs customer supplies and parts deliveries
4. Manages the logistics of new equipment and deliveries to customer sites
5. Plan labor needs, space utilization and resources to ensure cost effective and efficient operations
6. Collaborates and coordinates activities between departments to provide seamless and efficient logistics support to field operations
7. Ensure all KPIs within the customer and client are met including days on hand (DOH)
8. Develop new strategies to streamline processes to reduce costs
9. Carry out essential leadership responsibilities such as managing, developing, and mentoring assigned team members
10. Meet weekly or monthly to discuss performance and development
11. Initiates New Policies and Procedures
12. Work with Project Manager in Automating processes
13. Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, and customers
14. Ensures that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met
15. Perform metrics reporting and data analysis tasks to identify issues and opportunities for process improvements
16. Ensures all operations adhere to laws and OSHA safety compliance guidelines
17. Schedule and run weekly meetings with other department heads
18. Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills:

1. 3 years of experience in logistics, or related field
2. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Excel
3. Experience with delivery route dispatching
4. Strong communication skills
5. Ability to work independently and in a team environment
6. Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
7. Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and make decisions
