Job Summary

The Senior Restaurant Manager is responsible for ensuring everything runs smoothly within Level 8. The Senior Restaurant Manager is an outstanding leader who helps each venue achieve its goals from financial goals to staff retention goals. This person must create an exceptional climate of professional and personable service that ensures the long term engagement of employees, guests, and owners.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead, direct, and manage all department operations. Maintain regular presence throughout all venues. 
• Participate in periodic department inventories; recommend appropriate actions based on results of inventory reporting.
• Monitor operations to ensure a consistent sequence of service is followed and all brand standards are properly executed.
• Ensure the proper handling, maintenance, storage, and security of all department equipment.
• Prepare and execute business plans to ensure the maximization of department performance. 
• Create and develop goals and operational strategies that are aligned with the LEVEL 8 brand. 
• Analyze and identify financial opportunities including cost controls, productivity levels, and revenue generation.
• Portray a positive and professional attitude and appearance.
• Understand the policies and procedures of the organization and adhere to the company standards outlined in the company handbook.
• Possess conversational knowledge of food and beverage items served at the establishment.
• Participate in training sessions, departmental meetings or pre-shift meetings.
• Ensures the well-being of all guests and co-workers by following the Company Safety Standards and maintaining compliance with the Department of Health and OSHAA.

Our Ideal Candidate

• Hospitality management experience required, including 3 years in fine dining. Steakhouse management experience preferred.
• Demonstrates effective oral & written communication, interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.
• Possesses excellent organizational skills, problem-solving skills and time management ability.
• Actively contributes as a team player by supporting co-workers throughout each workday.
• Has a solid understanding of the job duties assigned to them and outlined in their job description.

Certifications Required

• RBS Certification (Responsible Beverage Service)
• Food Manager certification

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Must be able to stand, walk, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
• Role may include exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
• Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with varying shifts days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
