Job DescriptionWe are on the search for a Project Manager to join our team reporting to the Head of the Creative Studio. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and streamlining the workflow for multiple creative projects between Editorial and Creative Studio teams. You will work closely with designers, photo editors, video editors, producers, project managers, writers, and department leads to ensure that all departments are working efficiently and effectively towards company goals.
Oversees production requests from various teams to the creative studio and assigns appropriate resources based on skill set and availability.
Manages timelines, status reports, and communicates across the studio and with other departments (i.e., Research and Editorial) on the status of production.
Structures, organizes, and maintains a constant stream of project deliverables ensuring they adhere to quality standards.
Coordinates with cross-discipline team members to confirm all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and business strategy.
Communicates with program managers, project leads, and team members to triangulate and resolve issues.
Establishes effective project communication plans and ensures their execution.
Coordinates with designers, photo and video editors, writers, and other team members to delegate, organize, plan and manage workflows.
Understands team skills and strengths across all disciplines to optimize team positioning and collaboration.
Oversees onboarding and ensures proper training of new talent within the department.
Oversees and assists with tracking and reporting project data, progress, and operational costs for the creative studio department.
