Level D&I Solutions is currently seeking an Applications Engineer to join the Sales Team for our client near Plain City, Ohio. This position is a unique opportunity for a Process designer/ Cost estimator who enjoys working with the customer up front to support winning projects. In this role you will design Robotic system processes with varying value add technologies such as: MIG Welding, Resistance Welding, Laser Welding, Riveting, Sealing/gluing, Clinching, piercing, and more. Once the process is designed, you will estimate the cost and develop proposal documentation.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to understand and estimate cycle time along with quickly learning new technologies. The Applications engineer will work with multiple departments within the company as well as outside vendors, contractors, and customers to develop winning proposals. Also, once the project is awarded, the Apps Eng will support the engineering department by clearly defining the scope and internally kicking off the project. Tool designers, process engineers, and project engineers are encouraged to apply.
