Position Summary And ResponsibilitiesNetwork Engineer, will be responsible for planning, implementing, and maintaining new and existing Networks and infrastructure. You will be a member of our core engineering team with opportunities to advance in your career.
Networks Engineer Duties And Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze network needs, and propose solutions.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco switches, Ruckus
- Access Points and Fortinet firewalls to optimize network performance and security.
- Monitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve issues to minimize downtime.
- Implement and manage network security measures, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure effective network management and support.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices and make recommendations for network improvements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior network engineers and other IT staff.
- Participate in security management.
- Use diagnostic tools to determine deficiencies.
- Suggest and oversee improvement processes.
- Attend webinars and conferences
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Must document systems, processes, and procedures.
- Communicate and demonstrate techniques while cross training other employees on various applications and hardware.
- Maintain clean work environment.
