Lewis County Collision is Hiring an Auto Body Technician Near Chehalis, WA
Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits. Duties: - Perform auto body repairs and restoration on vehicles - Repair and replace damaged body panels, fenders, doors, and other parts - Remove dents, scratches, and other imperfections from vehicle surfaces - Conduct frame straightening and alignment - Repair or replace auto glass as needed - Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, masking, and priming - Utilize airless paint spraying equipment to apply paint coatings - Weld and fabricate metal components as necessary - Conduct mechanical repairs and maintenance as required - Ensure all work is completed according to industry standards and safety guidelines Skills: - Strong attention to detail to ensure high-quality repairs - Proficient in sheet metal repair techniques - Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with the role - Knowledge of auto glass repair and replacement procedures - Comprehensive understanding of auto body repair techniques - Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and address underlying issues - Experience with airless paint spraying equipment - Proficient in welding techniques for metal fabrication - Familiarity with automotive repair processes If you are a skilled Auto Body Technician looking for a challenging opportunity with a reputable company, we encourage you to apply.
