Full Time Medical Receptionist position immediately available for privately owned, small group specialty medical clinic.
Monday - Friday, benefit eligible after initial waiting period, position is based in Lexington with occasional travel to satellite clinic.
```Duties```
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized
```Skills```
- Proficient in using computer and electronic medical record systems
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Strong administrative skills, including data entry and filing
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working at the front desk of a medical, or other professional office is a plus
- Familiarity with phone systems and handling high call volumes
