Job DescriptionJob Title: Part-Time Hybrid TechnicianLocation: Lexington, SC (Primarily supporting Columbia and surrounding areas) Company: Lexington IT Solutions provides managed IT services to small businesses, focusing on efficient, effective, and secure technology solutions. Responsibilities:
Deploy and configure software to workstations and servers during service onboarding.
Analyze current specifications to recommend and implement upgrades or replacements.
Deploy new network equipment as part of service onboarding.
Conduct quick daily checks of systems to ensure automation ran correctly; perform manual corrections as needed.
Provide manual maintenance on workstations and servers as required.
Disaster Recovery:
Respond to complete system outages of networks, servers, and high-profile workstations.
Conduct initial diagnostics remotely within 30 minutes of outage detection.
Provide onsite support within two hours of outage notification.
Utilize multiple avenues for access, troubleshooting, and remediation.
Application Support:
Provide support for Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, and occasional proprietary business applications.
Minimal training provided; utilize application-specific support resources as needed.
Home Office Setups and Home Networks:
Assess current environments, make recommendations, and install computers, home networks, VoIP phones, and printers.
Work Environment:
Work independently for daily operations with support from remote technicians.
Collaborate on larger onsite projects with a team of technicians.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of two years' experience in MSP or in-house IT support.
Preferred certifications: A , Network , Security .
Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to explain technical issues in layman's terms.

Initial training provided on company systems; additional training available as needed.

Schedule:
Part-time position; scheduling based on as-needed support and pre-scheduled projects.
Availability required Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM for client support.
