- Ability to read and write
- Ability to follow oral and/or written communications
- Ability to learn and follow prescribed preparation, meal service, cleanup, sanitation and safety methods
- Ability to inventory and record information accurately
- Ability to lift and move 35-50 pounds routinely
- Preferred: ServSafe or HACCP Certification
Supervises: There are no supervisory responsibilities
Job Goal: The person in this position is responsible for carrying out the duties assigned by the Food Services Manager in providing quality meal service to customers.
Performance Responsibilities
- Follow written and/or oral instructions
- Practice sound sanitation and safety practices
- Participate in planned training activities as assigned
- Adhere to established work times and schedules
- Comply with all policies and guidelines established by the Food and Nutrition Services
- Other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
Terms of Employment: Based on 185 Days in Support Staff Grade 7 Salary Schedule
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with Board Policy.
