Job Summary:
The Service Receptionist at Lexus of Wayzata is a full-time customer service role in the auto industry. This individual will be responsible for providing excellent customer service to clients who visit the dealership for vehicle maintenance and repairs. As the first point of contact for customers, the Service Receptionist will greet and direct them to the appropriate service advisor, answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and handle payment transactions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and will be a friendly and professional representative of the dealership.
Compensation & Benefits:
The Service Receptionist position at Lexus of Wayzata offers a competitive salary in the range of $20 to $25 per week, paid weekly. In addition, employees are eligible for benefits including health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Direct customers to the appropriate service advisor
- Answer high volume of phone calls and schedule appointments using the dealership's scheduling system
- Handle payment transactions, including processing credit card payments and reconciling cash drawers
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and data entry
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Communicate with customers about the status of their vehicle and any needed maintenance or repairs
- Handle customer complaints and concerns with a positive and proactive attitude
- Follow dealership policies and procedures for customer service and data entry
- Collaborate with other dealership departments to ensure smooth operation and customer satisfaction
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience, preferably in the automotive industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in computer systems and data entry
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
