LFK Architects is seeking experienced, energetic Project Architects and Associate Architects to become an integral part of a leading Charleston area firm.

LFK offers the opportunity to join an engaging, diverse team, while gaining hands-on experience in a wide variety of commercial project types. From the outset, you’ll be encouraged to dive into all aspects of project design and management, from schematic design through construction documents, taking part in every aspect of the design process.

LFK is a fun and close-knit team of design professionals with expertise in retail, medical, restaurants and assembly, hospitality, community planning and mixed-use projects. Qualified applicants will have the opportunity to develop skills in client interaction and project management in an autonomous, non-traditional working environment where each designer sets their own pace, while maintaining coordination and collaboration with the team. Ideal candidates will have work experience as well as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture or a related field. Both non-licensed designers and licensed architects are encouraged to apply.

New team members will:

• See projects through from conceptual development through construction administration.
• Participate in the design process at all levels, Yes, we want your Design sensibility to be part of our Studio!
• Integrate code research and jurisdictional ordinances.
• Research and prepare for design review boards.
• Assist with client presentations and meetings.
• Engage with land planning and community development.
• Create professional drawings with CAD and 3D modeling.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and contractors.
• Maintain accountability with the Project Architect.
