The Concepts : At Credence, we're not just serving food; we're crafting an experience. Credence is a South Texas ranch-inspired, upscale dining concept exploring Levi’s perspectives on South Texas’s food, people, and culture.

Sidebar, an exclusive reservation only speakeasy-style cocktail bar draws inspiration from the early-1900s Texas oil boom and will be discreetly connected to Credence.

Position Summary :

Credence is in search of experienced Restaurant Captains. In the team service model at Credence, the Captain role is the leader, orchestrator, and guide of the dining experience.

A captain is a career-minded, high-level hospitality professional that is capable of expertly executing all front of house service roles as he / she leads a collaborative team in service to our guests.

The Captain’s primary role is to coordinate and deliver impeccable dining experiences to our guests. Leadership skills and task management are critical to fulfilling this role.

The Captain is tasked with enlightening guests on menu offerings and delivering exceptional service of selections in perfect synchrony with their service team.

An excellent Captain is capable of effectively communicating with his / her team to ensure expert level service and complete guest satisfaction.

We are in search of vibrant personalities who exude a genuine enthusiasm and deeply rooted passion for delivering an unforgettable Texas sized dining experience to our esteemed guests.

Our Captains will epitomize professionalism through impeccable presentation while always maintaining a confident and positive demeanor.

Your primary goal is to deliver exceptional service while fostering an atmosphere of indulgence and enjoyment. Credence Captains will be energetic and committed to providing extraordinary experiences for our guests.

The captain will have a strong attention to detail and sense of accountability. We expect our Captains to be held to the highest standards for the Credence team, the satisfaction of our guests, and themselves.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in fine dining establishments, having served as a lead server or Captain.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Enthusiastic about establishing an elevated, authentic, Texas experience, rooted deeply in Southern Hospitality Guide Guests through menu offerings providing an elevated experience
• Exudes positivity and a great attitude while delivering exceptional guest service
• Epic storytellers like our brand founder and CEO, Levi Goode
• Trusted Journey Leaders, guiding our guests through the ultimate experience, recommending the perfect libation pairing from our Chef-curated menu items
• Creates and maintains a positive team-based environment
• Demonstrates and maintains an extensive understanding of all menu offerings

Qualifications :

• 5 years in fine dining establishments
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Punctual and reliable attendance
• Proficient in operating point-of-sale register systems, including processing credit card and cash transactions
• Must be well-groomed and well-presented
• Must have an appreciation for detail, and a passion for guest service
• TABC Certified
