LG Magna e-Powertrain USA is currently looking for an experienced, motivated and results-oriented Financial Planning Manager to join our team. This is an exciting, collaborative and highly impactful role. Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and forecast financial, economic, and other data to provide accurate and timely information for strategic and operational decisions
  • Establish and forecast company's short term and mid-long term business plan
  • Provide financial information to management to make accurate and timely decisions to achieve company's goal
  • Conduct complex financial analysis projects
  • Responsible for budgeting, cash flow planning and risk management outlook
  • Prepare in-depth evaluations of plans and identify new methods of analysis and presentation
  • Monitors and develops reports of revenues and expenditures for projections
  • Provides record of assets, liabilities and other financial transactions
  • Builds processes and procedures that properly capture, track and report financial performance, including deferred revenue, in accordance with the company revenue recognition policy
  • Collects, interprets and evaluates workforce metrics to provide data driven insights for internal and external investment talent pool assessments, headcount reviews, forecasting and business scenario planning
  • Reviews processes and monitors plan effectiveness to improve KPI performance and development
  • Prepares presentations on business operations for management
  • May communicate with HQ/parent company regarding the BUs operation, management and performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • More than 8 years finance experience
  • Bilingual in both Korean and English language
  • Working knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting standards
  • Proficient knowledge of accounting, treasury and finance including variance analysis
  • Expert knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, macros, etc.), PowerPoint and Word
  • Analytical Thinking - ability to identify patters across situations that are not obviously related and to identifying key underling issues in complex situations
  • Strong spoken English language skills, accurate excel simulation, OLAP database, PowerPoint reporting with excellent presentation pitch and written communication skills is needed

Preferred:

  • MBA, PMP, CPA, CFA or other professional finance certificate
  • Bilingual in both Korean and English language - conversational or higher level of expertise is desirable to interpret the law and regulation in both US and Korea
