**Limagrain is the UKs leading plant breeder and seed producer in the agricultural sector, introducing new varieties with improved performance for arable and forage crops.**

**The Role**:

An exciting position has arisen at the Rothwell site, and we are currently seeking a Team Leader to join the Operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible in supporting the Seed Processing & Warehouse Manager in the smooth and timely running of the high-grade seed production and warehouse facilities at Rothwell.

**Job Description:**

The role will entail managing staff on a daily basis whilst supporting the high-grade seed manager in the day to day running of the Rothwell site operations which will be based within the top warehouse. This will include:

* Supervise operations staff daily

* Assist the high-grade seed manager administering works orders

* Assist the high-grade seed manager in staff training and performance management

* Drawing samples from the warehouse area for germination/testing

* Cleaning seed to the required standard

* Chemically treating seed with the required dressing, labelling and sampling seed

* Ensure accurate stock management

* Complete works orders for cleaning and treating of seed

* Ensure shop floor administration of seed processing and distribution is performed accurately

* Preparation of works orders and labels when required

* Ensure safe working practices and risk assessments are maintained for operations staff

* Ensure that a safe working environment is maintained at all times

* Crop walking during summer months

**Key Features:**

* Two years experience in similar role based within a warehouse environment..

* Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office is essential.

* Understanding of operating systems such as AX / SAP is an advantage but training will be given.
