Headquartered in New York City, located in the heart of Midtown Manhattan, our Loews Hotels & Co Home Office teams support our properties throughout the United States and Canada. Our talented teams provide guidance over strategic planning, operations, revenue management, communications, sales, development, brand marketing, finance, human resources and information technology. . We offer hybrid flexibility based out of Home Office location in New York City. Purpose: The Senior Manager, Project Accounting works closely with the Vice President, Finance in various activities to enhance controls and reporting for Treasury Management, Capital Project Management, Finance Policies and Procedures and specific Corporate Cost Center Expenses Management. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Lead finance team responsible for IT and Facilities accounting support and new development accounting Enhance system wide capital project cash flow reporting, and forecasting to increase accuracy Prepare monthly capital project cash flow, working directly with Project Managers, Hotel and Home Office IT Prepare and monitor Oracle Capital project dashboards to be utilized by PM and Senior Leadership Project administration for all new development projects Monitor all exception reporting for Projects including on-time and on-budget reporting and communicate to PM and Senior Leadership for corrective action Prepare monthly Journal Entries as required for capital accruals and specific Corporate Cost Centers Assist in any updates to Loews Hotels Policies & Procedure Manual related to Capital Manage and troubleshoot all Oracle Project related questions Monitor and ensure compliance with, policies, procedures and operational controls related to global cash management and capital project/fixed asset management Lead and coordinate Annual Capital Project Plan process, including scheduling reviews, reporting and communication Manage and troubleshoot all Oracle Project related questions Enhance reporting on Home Office Controlled Chargebacks through Oracle Projects Complete ad hoc project and perform other duties Assigned Required Qualifications BS/BA degree in finance, accounting or relevant/similar discipline 3-5 years supervisory experience required Leadership and initiative in getting the job completed and ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects Results driven; Highly detail oriented with ability to manage large volumes of data Advance skills in MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint; Experience with databases Strong analytical skills in finance Business Acumen Communication effectively with all levels within the company Preferred Qualifications: Hotel Industry experience Construction accounting experience 6-8 years work experience in construction or project accounting Oracle experience Education: BS/BA degree in finance, accounting or relevant/similar discipline . Salary range for this position, based on experience, is $110,000.00 to $137,500.00.
