Job Title: HR Operations Coordinator
Location: Chicago, IL or Fort Worth, TX
Pay Rate: $21 to $24hr
Hours: Part time, Flexible hours (20 hrs a week)
Contract to Hire: Yes
Remote or Onsite: 1 to 2 days onsite per week
Job Description:
Reporting to the HR Director, the Human Resources Coordinator for the Human Resources department works as an integral part of the team to advance the goals that address the needs of the business. The successful candidate is a service-oriented strategic thinker who takes initiative, anticipates needs, and is professional, responsive, creative, and self-motivated. A critical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, the successful candidate will be a relationship builder with sound judgment and the ability to quickly address and resolve issues.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
Talent Management:
Key partner in performance management efforts, including research and development, implementation, maintenance, and improvement.
Assist in talent management related (and broader HR) change management and communication efforts.
Gather feedback about the effectiveness of various components, propose and implement changes.
Support the employee survey program, including strategy, research and development, and administration of the survey lifecycle.
Access, collect and synthesize workforce data from variety of sources to aid a data-driven approach to talent management (e.g., consolidating, inputting, analyzing, and reporting for employee exit surveys).
Support Learning and Development initiatives, including vendor relations and event planning.
Administrative:
Actively and strategically manage the HR Director's calendar to ensure effective use of time to advance priorities, adjust schedules, and seamlessly manage follow-through.
Schedule and manage business travel in alignment with HR Director's preferences and company policies.
Compile, submit, and track expense reports.
Develop and distribute agendas and other materials as needed and track action items and follow-ups.
Perform routine and special administrative activities and projects, such as draft and analyze reports, summarize information, and prepare documents (presentations, Excel spreadsheets, memos, and letters).
Perform other ad-hoc administrative duties as assigned.

Technical Skills and Desired Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or similarly aligned degree.
2 years of human resources coordination/administration, human resources generalist or similarly aligned experience.
Knowledge of recruiting systems, SharePoint, HRIS, Qualtrics, teleconferencing platforms, G-Drive and/or other file sharing and cloud services, Adobe Acrobat, and talent management systems is a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Experience managing travel and calendar management preferred.
