Title: Inventory Specialist

Type: Temp-to-hire

Location: Creve Coeur 100% on-site

Schedule: Monday-Friday; standard hours of operation

Compensation: $19.00 to $20.00 per/hour (flexible upon experience)

Job Description:

• Source, order and maintain an inventory

• Responsible for cost reduction activities.

• Maintain inventory levels of goods purchased

• Negotiate prices with vendors

• Forecast level of demand to meet business needs and keep a continuous analysis of usage and balance.

• Responsible for updating deliveries involved in inventory discrepancies.

• Coordinate with Warehouses, Customer Service, and Logistics to ensure all changes to deliveries and shipments are communicated to the appropriate parties.

• Ensure proper process for modifying deliveries or issuing customer credits.

• Assist in end-of-month inventory reconciliations addressing discrepancies.

• Monitor and manage an email inbox, providing coverage as needed to resolve issues across all sites.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or relevant certification preferred.

• Proven experience as an Inventory Clerk or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office (Excel, Word).

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay Details: $19.00 to $20.00 per hour
