Responsibilities:

• Process and manage payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle certified payroll reporting and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Prepare and submit payroll tax filings and reports.
• Maintain and update payroll records, including employee information and deductions.
• Address and resolve any payroll discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
• Collaborate with HR and Accounting departments to ensure seamless payroll processing.
• Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries.
• Stay current on changes in payroll laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll processing, with specific experience in certified payroll.
• Strong knowledge of payroll principles, laws, and regulations.
• Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex payroll issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $50,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
