Senior Accountant ($90,000 - $100,000)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant for our client in the environmental space in Dallas, TX . This role reports directly to the Accounting Manager and will be supporting the accounting function within a rapidly growing company, focusing on fixed asset and lease accounting transactions, general ledger accounting, and ensuring tax compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Review journal entries, accruals, and related reconciliations of ledger accounts.

• Maintain records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.

• Provide variance explanations and research transactions.

• Ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.

• Research complex accounting issues and interpret guidance.

• Assist in various tax and business filings.

• Manage fixed asset and lease accounting.

• Prepare intercompany transactions and reconciliations.

• Support the annual audit with external auditors.

• Participate in special projects, including system implementations.

Client Requirements:

• CPA or passed parts of the CPA

• Public accounting experience required

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience

Pay Details: $90,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
