LHH Recruitment Solutions is Hiring a Senior Accountant Near New York, NY
LHH is working on behalf of our client in the real estate space who is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team on a contract to hire basis. This will be a hybrid in-office role in Manhattan, NY.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with month end close processes
- Prepare and post various journal entries (accruals, reclassifications, depreciation, etc.)
- Perform reconciliations for 6 bank accounts
- Analyze balance sheet accounts
- Assist with financial statement preparation under GAAP standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Prior Real Estate experience a plus
- Excellent MS Excel skills (pivot tables, v-lookups)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Compensation: $38 - 45/hr, depending on experience.
