Senior Buyer - Electronics and Mechanical

Location: Golden Valley, MN (Hybrid Schedule: 3 days onsite/2 days remote)

Pay Range: $30.28hr

Job Description: We are seeking a Senior Buyer with 5 years of experience to join our procurement team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in purchasing materials, equipment, and supplies, particularly in the electronics and mechanical domains. Experience in the defense or space sectors is highly desirable, and a strong background in SAP is essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procure materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effective solutions.

• Evaluate vendor quotes and services to determine the most desirable suppliers for our needs.

• Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements with vendors to achieve favorable terms.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and develop effective procurement strategies.

• Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.

• Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements related to procurement.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• 5 years of experience as a Buyer, with a focus on electronics and mechanical procurement

• Experience in the defense or space industry is a significant advantage

• Strong background in SAP

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
