LHH Recruitment Solutions is Hiring a System Administrator Near Sacramento, CA

Eben Mahoney with LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a leading technology company in Sacramento, CA that is seeking a talented System Administrator to add to the team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system administration, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work successfully in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:

  • Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual operating systems to support business processing requirements.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability.
  • Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and other network services.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and backups.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of the network infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members and departments to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, procedures, and policies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in system administration.
  • Proficiency in Windows Server, Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu), and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, and security best practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network , CompTIA Security , Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) are a plus.
Employment type: ongoing contract
Hours: 40 per week, onsite
Pay: 30.00 to 44.00 per hour, D.O.E.
