LHH is seeking a diligent and experienced Accountant to join an amazing team. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining financial records, and ensuring accurate financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee the processing of accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice preparation and payment processing.
• Conduct regular reconciliations of bank accounts, credit card accounts, and other financial accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing detailed analysis and insights.
• Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and requirements.
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Perform ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
