Accounting Analyst (Hybrid, Loop)
Our client, a privately-held investment management firm located in Chicago's Loop, is looking for an Accounting Analyst to join their team! This person will be responsible for accounting related functions, including cash management, accounts payable and receivable. The team is on a hybrid schedule with 2 remote days per week.
This job in a nutshell:
- Cash management - review daily cash entries, investigate and resolve discrepancies
- AP/AR management - manage invoice and expense reimbursement approval process in Concur, main point of contact regarding vendor payments and expenses, reconcile vendor statements
- Reporting & Documentation - prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, create and run Concur reports, prepare supporting schedules and ad hoc reports, perform variance analysis and timely reconcilation of general ledger accounts
We are looking for (key requirements/preferences):
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, including accounts payable and/or cash management
- Knowledge of AP and internal controls
- Strong proficiency in Excel
- Experience with Concur, preferred
Sells:
- Flexible Hybrid schedule
- PTO 3 weeks
- 401k – 150% up to 6% which equals to 9%

Compensation: up to $85,000 base salary plus 5% bonus
