Paid summer internship for Accounting and Finance students!

We are seeking a student pursuing a degree in either Accounting or Finance to become an Intern for the audit department with a Fortune 500 company in Jacksonville. This person will work directly under the VP of Audit and gain valuable experience in accounting procedures, month-end close, audit, and GAAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain valuable experience for their resume and future careers!

Responsibilities

• Oversee audit finalization and SOX audit
• Assist with management of accounting operations, close, reporting, and reconciliations
• Help Managers and VP with PowerPoint projects and assist with presentations
• Perform reconciliations and journal entries for month-end close
• Evaluate transactions, balances, and disclosures to comply with GAAP

Qualifications

• Must be an enrolled student currently in pursuit of a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word
• Must be able to work 30-40 hours per week during the summer months
