LHH is assisting a client in Aurora looking to add an Accounting Manager to their team. Their construction division is seeking a dedicated Accounting Manager to uphold financial excellence and drive growth.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with industry standards and GAAP.
- Manage receivables and accounting staff, overseeing high-volume transactions.
- Lead monthly close processes and consolidation procedures.
- Effectively communicate financial information to key stakeholders.
- Support divisional goals and objectives, including strategic plans and ad hoc projects.
- Develop talent, fostering engagement and accountability.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and contribute to ERP implementation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA and/or CPA preferred.
- 5 years of Accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing.
- Strong grasp of finance, budgeting, and GAAP principles.
- Proven experience managing accounting professionals.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in ERP and BI systems, Microsoft Office.
