LHH is working with an engineering firm to identify a temporary Accounting Specialist for their team. Your main tasks will be invoicing, processing payments, and reconciling accounts. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of accounting experience and have at least an associate’s degree in business. The role does entail a lot of detailed work and ensuring that billing is following the contract terms, so you need to be extremely detail oriented. The team will provide training, but this position is fully onsite in Seattle, WA.
Responsibilities:

• Processing payments and posting to the correct accounts
• Composing billing invoices according to contract terms
• Updating and reconciling vendor accounts
• Matching and coding invoices
• Month end close tasks and posting journal entries
• Additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in business would be preferred
• At least two years of accounting experience
• High attention to detail
• Professional communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables)

Employment Details:

• Temporary for three months
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Onsite in the Seattle, WA office

Pay Details: $28.00 to $31.00 per hour
