LHH is seeking a contract Accounts Payable Manager to join our client in Burbank. As the Manager of Accounts Payable, you'll lead a team of AP Coordinators ensuring timely processing of payments. We're seeking someone with in-depth understanding of union contribution regulations, and exceptional communication skills.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure prompt processing of weekly and monthly contribution dues.

· Address escalated internal and external concerns promptly.

· Analyze reporting requirements and develop specifications for programming, testing criteria, and acceptance testing.

· Review current processes, identifying opportunities for streamlining and improvement.

· Track and manage the AP contributions ticketing system, ensuring accurate data capture, assignment, escalation, and resolution.

· Identify and address root causes of reporting errors or discrepancies, coordinating with payroll teams as necessary.

· Maintain up-to-date desktop procedures and provide user training.

· Serve as the point person for all payroll adjustments related to contributions.

· Prepare and publish internal reporting on outstanding invoices and AP debits.

· Ensure accurate tracking and timely reporting of AP debits, including overpayments to unions, guilds, and fund offices.

· Provide high-quality service to both internal and external customers.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required

· 5 years of experience working with unions is required

· Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Demonstrated sense of urgency regarding client servicing

· Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and team needs

· Self-motivated and organized, capable of working independently and tracking unresolved issues

· Proficient knowledge and utilization of payroll systems and Oracle
