Position Overview:
LHH is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented AP Specialist to join our clients finance team.
Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate authorization.
• Process invoices into the accounting system and assign appropriate account codes.
• Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure proper approval and documentation.
• Prepare and process payments to vendors through various payment methods (e.g., checks, ACH, wire transfers).
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or issues promptly.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders regarding payment inquiries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and principles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.00 per hour
