LHH is Hiring an Accounts Payable Near Chandler, AZ
Position Overview: LHH is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented AP Specialist to join our clients finance team. Key Responsibilities:
Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and appropriate authorization.
Process invoices into the accounting system and assign appropriate account codes.
Match invoices with purchase orders and receiving documents to ensure proper approval and documentation.
Prepare and process payments to vendors through various payment methods (e.g., checks, ACH, wire transfers).
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or issues promptly.
Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Maintain organized and up-to-date records of all accounts payable transactions.
Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders regarding payment inquiries.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role.
Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance.
