LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a large non-profit organization in Jacksonville, FL looking to add a Billing Specialist to their growing team.
Position Summary:
The Grant Billing Specialist assists the Director of Finance & Grant Accounting in the preparation of federal, state, and local grants. The Grant Billing Specialist is primarily responsible for ensuring that the supporting documentation and the invoices are prepared in a timely manner.
Use various Excel spreadsheets to identify backup documentation needed for each billing invoice
Review invoices and supporting documentation for each grantor billing to assist in the creation of grantor invoice packets
Stay up to date on changes in general grant regulations and specific grants by attending seminars and conferences as well as reading material available??
Communicate billing and/or compliance issues to the appropriate individual for corrective action
Position Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Experience with a nonprofit organization and/or working with grants is a plus
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Microsoft Office
Ability to meet deadlines
Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
Strong problem-solving techniques to accomplish objectives
