Location: Brentwood, NY
Position Type: Full-time, onsite
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $25-30 per hour (based on experience)
Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Receivable professional to join our team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. This role is integral to our finance department, focusing on timely and accurate processing of receivables for our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and send out invoices to clients promptly
- Monitor customer accounts for delayed payments and other irregularities
- Follow up on overdue accounts and arrange for payment collections
- Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies as needed
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and update customer information in the database
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial transactions
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting tasks
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding accounts receivable
- Prior experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles
- Familiarity with Yardi software is highly desirable (but not mandatory)
- Experience in real estate, property management, or related fields is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
- Must be able to work full-time onsite in Brentwood, NY
