LHH is Hiring an Administrative Assistant Near Westlake, LA

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced administrative assistant. This position is responsible for providing office assistance to the mobile/mini office by performing clerical, secretarial, and administrative duties to ensure efficient operations.
Location: Westlake, LA 70669
Shift: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm
Compensation: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
  • General office assistance including answering phones, distributing mail, and filing.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely completion of time records for all hourly employees and transmitting payroll information to the Chicago office.
  • Preparing Billing Repair Cards (BRCs) based on information from each mini/mobile unit location for invoicing purposes.
  • Assisting with typing purchase orders and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Preparing various monthly reports and forwarding them to the Chicago office for use by the Controller’s Department.
  • Provide clerical, administrative, and secretarial assistance to the mobile/mini supervisor to ensure smooth office operations.
  • Prepare BRCs based on information received from supervisors to provide an accurate record of car repairs for invoicing purposes.
  • Record, check, and transmit man-hours to payroll to ensure accurate processing of the hourly payroll.
  • Prepare various monthly reports as required.
  • Prepare purchase orders, order materials, and ensure receipt of materials matches purchase orders.
  • Participate in and actively support quality projects, activities, and Responsible Care initiatives to ensure the company achieves its goals.
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment such as facsimile machines, copy machines, typewriters, and personal computers.
  • Effective communication with all locations, outside vendors, and subordinates to ensure a clear understanding of required duties and performance.
  • Reading, comprehension, and basic numerical skills required for clerical support functions.
  • Ability to stoop, bend, and stretch to perform filing activities.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of previous office experience is desirable.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Power Point, AS400 preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to perform daily duties is essential.
  • Work to always meet internal and external customer expectations by fully applying oneself to the task involved, preventing errors, and developing and implementing personal quality improvement projects.
  • Understand and actively participate in activities outlined in the Responsible Care Management System.
Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
