LHH is Hiring an Administrative Specialist Near Bethesda, MD

LHH is currently partnering with a nonprofit organization in the Washington, DC area looking to bring on a temporary part time Administrative Assistant. This is an ongoing role with the opportunity to make a significant impact on our team's efficiency and effectiveness.

Detailed Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily office operations
  • Collaborate with the Administrative Services Coordinator on front desk operations, including:
  • Telephone coverage
  • Greeting guest
  • Maintaining the front office
  • Work with vendors
  • Office managament
  • Maintain and oversee the cleanliness and functionality of conference rooms and common areas.
  • Set up and tear down conference rooms and common areas before and after meetings.
  • Provide general support services during meeting preparation, such as:
  • Catering coordination
  • Document assembly
  • Credential badge preparation
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Hours: 18 hours per week
  • Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
  • Duration: 2 months with possible extension
  • Pay: $20-$23 per hour
