Chief Engineer

Location: Charlotte, NC

Pay: $86k-$110k/yearly

Position Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our client's team. As a Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of engineering operations within the organization. This includes leading a team of engineers, implementing strategic initiatives, and ensuring the efficient operation of all mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers, technicians, and maintenance staff.
• Develop and implement engineering strategies to optimize building performance and efficiency.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and building codes.
• Collaborate with other departments to support ongoing projects and initiatives.
• Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within the engineering or facilities management field.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Professional Engineer license) are a plus.
