LHH has partnered with a Bellevue-based motor vehicle manufacturing organization in the search for an Assistant Director of Financial Reporting. Our client seeks a highly skilled individual to lead their financial reporting team. Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation and project oversight of SEC filings, including Forms 8-K, 10-Q, 11-K, and 10-K
• Review detailed analyses and work papers prepared by the External Reporting Team
• Regularly oversee reporting team assistants from different departments
• Collaborate with External Auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits
• Conduct technical GAAP/SEC research, prepare position papers, and assist with adopting new accounting standards
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting (advanced degree preferred)
• CPA certification required
• 6 years of financial reporting experience
• Strong working knowledge of SEC rules and regulations
• Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, macros, charts, and graphs) and data analytic tools (Tableau, PowerBI)
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Salary, Benefits, & Perks:

• Salary: $145,000 - $160,000
