LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated, detailed, and highly professional Attorney Recruiting Coordinator to join their firm in Chicago, IL. This role will primarily focus on managing the attorney recruitment process across various practice groups, coordinating the Summer Associate Recruitment Program, and spearheading Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives related to recruiting. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in legal, accounting, or investment banking firms, with a strong background in recruitment and program coordination. Key Responsibilities:

Attorney Recruitment:

• Collaborate with legal recruiting firms and manage agency relationships for attorney recruitment across multiple practice areas (e.g., intellectual property, commercial real estate, M&A, Employment law).
• Review resumes, screen candidates, and schedule interviews with senior leaders.
• Draft and review offer letters, ensuring accuracy and compliance with firm policies.
• Manage recruiting policies, programs, and materials to ensure alignment with best practices and firm strategy.
• Promote a diverse and inclusive recruiting process, ensuring a positive candidate experience that reflects firm values.
• Assist in onboarding and training initiatives for lateral associates.

Summer Associate Recruitment Program Coordinator:

• Support campus interview programs and maintain relationships with law school placement offices.
• Coordinate the evaluation and selection of Summer Associate candidates.
• Organize outreach activities for law students and liaise with firm lawyers to enhance engagement.
• Facilitate smooth transitions for Summer Associates joining as full-time associates, including onboarding support.

Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI):

• Oversee and coordinate the implementation of the firm’s DEI strategic goals within the recruiting process.
• Lead efforts to enhance diversity in law student and lateral attorney recruitment.
• Plan and coordinate DEI events and initiatives to promote a culture of inclusivity.
• Prepare summary reports on DEI progress, achievements, and outcomes.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Professional demeanor with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with viRecruit, LawCruit, or Flo Recruit (ATS software in the legal field) is advantageous.
