Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Audit Manager to join our client's dynamic team. The Audit Manager will lead and oversee the internal audit processes, ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our operations, compliance with regulatory requirements, and the accuracy of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in auditing, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement in audit practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Audit Planning and Execution:

• Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans, including risk assessments, audit programs, and schedules.
• Lead and conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits to ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Review and evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identifying areas for improvement and recommending corrective actions.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Manage and mentor a team of auditors, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment, encouraging professional growth and development.
• Allocate audit assignments, monitor progress, and ensure timely completion of audits.

Reporting and Communication:

• Prepare detailed audit reports, summarizing findings, recommendations, and management responses.
• Present audit findings to senior management and the audit committee, highlighting key issues and risk areas.
• Communicate effectively with various departments to ensure understanding and implementation of audit recommendations.

Risk Management and Compliance:

• Identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the organization, developing strategies to mitigate them.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
• Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in the field of auditing and risk management.

Continuous Improvement:

• Promote a culture of continuous improvement in audit processes and methodologies.
• Implement innovative audit tools and techniques to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.
• Participate in special projects and investigations as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or other relevant certifications preferred
• Minimum of 5-7 years of auditing experience
• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, internal controls, and risk management practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
