Job Description:LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Automotive Title Clerk on behalf of our client in Florence, KY. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing vehicle titles and registrations, ensuring compliance with state regulations, and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires previous experience in automotive title processing and strong administrative skills.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Title Processing:
    • Prepare and process title documents for vehicle sales.
    • Ensure all titles are accurately and efficiently processed in compliance with state regulations.
    • Verify the accuracy of information on title documents and correct any discrepancies.
  • Registration Management:
    • Handle the registration of vehicles with the appropriate state motor vehicle department.
    • Maintain up-to-date records of all vehicle titles and registrations.
    • Coordinate with sales and finance departments to ensure timely submission of documents.
  • Customer Service:
    • Assist customers with title and registration inquiries.
    • Provide guidance on title transfer processes and requirements.
    • Resolve any title-related issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally.
  • Documentation and Filing:
    • Organize and maintain physical and digital records of title and registration documents.
    • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and filed appropriately.
    • Prepare reports on title processing activities as needed.
  • Compliance:
    • Stay current with state and federal regulations related to vehicle titles and registrations.
    • Ensure compliance with all legal requirements and dealership policies.
    • Implement changes to procedures as needed to remain compliant with new regulations.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as an automotive title clerk or in a similar role is required.
  • Strong understanding of state title regulations and registration processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and dealership management software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Benefits:
  • Competitive hourly wage ($16.00 to $18.00 per hour)
  • Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan. Our program provides employees the flexibility to choose the type of coverage that meets their individual needs. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
Pay Details: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
