I am currently working with a leading AM law ranked firm , who are actively growing their Banking & Finance practice , which includes an Associate role in their Kansas City office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on banking and finance matters, including transactions, regulatory compliance, and risk management.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of financial agreements, contracts, and legal documents.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders, including executives, risk management, and other legal professionals, to address legal issues and contribute to strategic decision-making.
• Representation in negotiations, mediations, and other legal proceedings related to banking and finance matters.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
• Licensed to practice law in Missouri.
• 3 years of banking and finance experience - ideally gained in a large law firm setting.
• Consumer finance regulatory and compliance experience is beneficial.
