Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract qualified candidates for various construction roles.
- Source and screen candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, referrals, and networking events.
- Conduct interviews and assess candidate qualifications to ensure they meet the job requirements.
- Coordinate and conduct job fairs and other recruitment events to attract potential candidates.
- Maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for future hiring needs.
- Manage the entire recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding, ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide timely updates on recruitment progress.
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and company policies throughout the recruitment process.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to manage candidate data and recruitment activities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local community organizations, educational institutions, and other relevant partners to support recruitment efforts.
- Provide regular reports on recruitment metrics and suggest improvements to the recruitment process.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a recruiter, preferably in the construction industry.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
- Strong understanding of construction industry roles and requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
